44 Ardent Drops Atmospheric House Track ’95overflow’

Just last month 44 Ardent returned after a 12-month hiatus with the daydreaming sounds of ‘pieces’ which was met with much praise and attention from fans and music industry curators around the world.

He did also give us promise of more new music coming our way throughout the year and he’s already making good on that promise this week with the invigorating sounds of new single ‘95overflow’

Speaking on the new Track, 44 Ardent says:

“This song has been remade aboutfourtimes and started with just the vocal andpiano that comes in at aroundone-minute. The lyrics are sort of a reflection on thebleakness of our changing climate and how it feels like we aren’t really doing thatmuch about it.”

He then adds :

“I particularly like the transition between the house inspired beat and then the breakssection in the middleof the song. I thought it was a bit odd to have those two stylesclashing in one song at first, but it has grown on me. The biggest challenge for thissong to work was getting the two concurrent basslines in the chorus to work togetherwithout clashing too much. I tried just going with one bassline but two is way morefun.”
