Dutch Producer Moods Primes Forthcoming LP With Sophomore Single

Dropping in the wake of front runner single ‘Talk About It’, and landing off the heels of vocal offering ‘Sinner’ alongside Nic Hanson, the single sets the easy flowing precedent for a brand new instrumental LP true to his notorious fusion of soul, R&B, and alternative influences.

‘Music Saved My Life’ is the second single to emerge from Music Ruined My Life, due for release on Kraak & Smaak’s renowned imprint in Q4. Recorded live in the city of Leiden during the peak of the pandemic with a full band, the single ebbs and glows around supple grooves, delicate guitar licks, and a sprinkle of brass to hit home the balance of soulful and jazz-inspired undertones of the project.

Listen 'Music Saved My Life :

“‘Music Saved My Life’ is about the profound joy that creating music brings me from time to time,” explains Nick. “It can give me a vibe that I can’t get anywhere else and is honestly hard to put in words. All I know is my purpose seems to be found in music at that moment. The goal was to translate that feeling and vibe, those moments in your life where u realise everything is in the right place and things are good.”
