Duo The Aston Shuffle Goes On With New Dance Stomp

Released on October 18th, ‘Care A Little Less’ sees The Aston Shuffle, one of the southern hemisphere’s most influential dance acts, touch down with a fitting single that highlights their innate ability to create captivating dance records.
 

Reminding us exactly why The Aston Shuffle has a prominent presence on the global stage, ‘Care A Little Less’ is filled with alluring vocals, refreshing melodies and raw energy. Blending a percussive groove with a killer bassline, it delivers a power-punch that is cut perfectly for high-energy dancefloors and underground club rooms alike.

Their latest single adds fuel to the fire that has burned brightly for The Aston Shuffle throughout 2019 and follows a heap of releases this year, including three new originals – ‘Stay’ (feat. Dana Williams), a summery collaboration with Fabich released on The Magician’s Potion label; ‘Now Or Never’, also released on Potion; and ‘Back To Me’ (feat. Blush’ko), a club collaboration with TCTS, released on Idris Elba’s 7Wallace label – plus ‘Heaven Can Wait’, a remix for Labrinth, Sia & Diplo’s LSD project that has regularly featured in Diplo’s recent club and festival sets.

The Aston Shuffle, comprised of Vance Musgrove and Mikah Freeman, first rose to prominence as standout remixers, with remixes of Claude Vonstroke, Green Velvet, London Grammar and many others receiving widespread DJ support and press pickup. This combined with the success of their original releases has seen the duo become regulars on the Australian club and festival scene, and also tour internationally, with recent performances at Tomorrowland, Hï Ibiza, Output in Brooklyn, and Egg in London

All the while, the duo have balanced their touring and studio activities with a weekly radio show. The Friday Night Shuffle sees Vance and Mikah selecting, mixing, and presenting 3 hours of new release dance tracks every Friday night on renowned Australian radio station triple j.
