Justice & Silk City Bring Home 2019 GRAMMY Awards

The 61st annual Grammy Awards took place this Sunday in the well-know Los Angeles Staples Center, and has rewarded artists in more than 80 different categories, Dance and Electronic Music among others. And we have now the winners…

About the “Best Dance/Electronic Album”, Justice took home the Grammy for Woman Worldwide. The French duo follows in the footsteps of Daft Punk, who also brought home the award with a live album after scoring the win with Alive 2007 in 2009. The winning album is self-described as “10 years of Justice mixed and remixed”, and features reworked tracks from their discography. It was recorded in a similar way that the duo performs live.

Also, Mura Masa, who picked up a nomination for Dance/Electronic album of the year in 2018, finally took home some hardware in 2019 for “Best Remix”. His rework of “Walking Away” beat out Cosmic Gate, CID, and Kaskade for the trophy.
