Sound Quelle Expands Horizons With New Album Release ‘Tarazed’

Sound Quelle, the project of Russian producer Valery Lebedev, is coming off the back of a strong 2022 that bolstered his credentials as one of the most prolific names in the deep and melodic house world. The producer has developed a singular sound that has captured the ears of dance music fans around the world, garnering millions of streams and features on prominent playlists such as Deep Chill Relax, Chill Tracks and Night House on Spotify.

Sound Quelle’s singular blend of progressive and deep house is on full display throughout this expansive 17 track release. Opener ‘Origins’ sets the tone, bursting into view on a wave of arpeggiated synths before a deep house groove takes hold. Next up is the first of four distinctive singles that exemplify the album’s range. ‘Tempest’ is constructed around an exhilarating groove, the kind that the producer so often crafts with an assured ease – this time accompanied by a luscious vocal from Daniel Robinson. ‘Where We Should Be’ pairs an entrancing chord progression with Tailor’s ethereal vocals, while ‘Colours’ shows off Sound Quelle’s symphonic production. Finally, in a strong closing stretch of the album, the colossal ‘Wonderland’ mesmerises with its wall of cascading synths and sublime vocals from 88Birds.
