Binance, the world’s largest crypto-currency exchange platform, has just announced that it will be sponsoring famous musician The Weeknd on his upcoming world tour.
Indeed, Binance decides to collaborate with The Weeknd for his tour named ‘After Hours ‘Til Dawn’ which will start on July 8, 2022 at the ‘Rogers Centre’ in Toronto. The exchange leader claims that this “crypto-powered tour” will be the first in the world to exploit Web 3.0 technology.
In addition to an incredible musical experience, this tour will be supported by the launch of many unique NFTs in celebration of this event to further enhance the fan experience and raise funds in the process.
For the occasion, the Binance platform will be working with HXOUSE, a Toronto-based think tank and community incubator, to develop an NFT collection based exclusively on this tour, as well as other co-branded products.
Some of the virtual tickets held by concertgoers will be redeemable for commemorative NFTs, which Binance says will provide unique experiences for fans.
This world tour is sure to thrill Weeknd fans, but also NFT enthusiasts. The event will perhaps bring other artists to collaborate with various cryptographic projects, and thus participate in the democratization of this sector through sumptuous musical vibes.
