Indie R&B/Pop singer-songwriter Gen Bello has released “Dear Mom” — her latest single and the third one since June. The up-and-coming talent is on the rise, as she continues to showcase new sides of her versatile musical artistry.
Written by G Bello herself and produced by Moedoisnice, “Dear Mom”, her most vulnerable track to date, is a loving tribute to thank her mother on her birthday.

“When I first started writing, I always had it in mind that I wanted to write something special for my mom. My mom is the most important person in my life,” Gen Bello explained. “My mom is the most selfless, loving, hard-working person that I know. She inspires me to keep pushing forward towards my goals/dreams. She’s really special to me, so I’m releasing this song on her birthday. I wanted to share one of my greatest joys in life (music) with the person that brings me the most joy (my mom)”.
Previously known as Genesis, Gen Bello released her first two singles — “Intoxicated” and “Desire” — under her new artist name this past month. Her name change symbolizes a change in her sound. Already a seasoned NYC performer, Gen Bello is only getting started.
Gen is expected to release more singles under this new name in the coming months, leading up to a new project in 2021.. so wait and see!
