Kideko & Armand Van Helden Link Up On ‘The Fire’

Brighton-born DJ and producer Kideko has joined forces with House legend Armand Van Helden on new single ‘The Fire’. A feelgood house jam, ‘The Fire’ combines euphoric piano chords with measured breaks and vocal samples from Gwen McCrae’s disco classic ‘Keep The Fire Burning’ and Motown classic, ‘Ain’t Too Proud To Beg’ from The Temptations. It follows ‘Isolate’, a collaboration between Kideko, Gotsome, Joshwa, TCTS, George Kwali and Chaney, a jackin’ floorfiller that was created in lockdown.

Kideko burst onto the scene in 2015 with his smash hit ‘The Jam’ and has since released music on some of the biggest labels in the underground, including Toolroom, Fatboy Slim’s Skint Records, Positiva and Ministry of Sound… and he now continues to solidify his presence within UK Dance music.

Having revived his Duck Sauce project, with singles ‘Captain Duck’ and ‘I Don’t Mind’, Armand Van Helden boldly returns to the spotlight in 2020. After a huge collaboration with Solardo and Herve, on club smash ‘Power Of Bass’, he now pursues with Kideko on another banger, a tune that does exactly what it says on the tin.
