Critically acclaimed Wellington based artist and songwriter Louis Baker teams up with DJ and Producer Frank Booker for a groove laden, soul-infused, house remix of his track, ‘Alive’

Taken from his recently released debut album Open, ‘Baker’s track ‘Alive’ draws from his proven ability to write songs of depth and feeling to create a soulful anthem full of life. Listen 'Alive (F. Booker Remix)' :

“I liked the idea of changing the original version of the track to something for the dancefloor. The lyrical content, while introspective, can translate really well for a dancefloor. I wanna feel alive!”
Frank Booker

The remix is already getting the seal of approval from tastemakers around Aotearoa, including jazz master and DJ Nathan Haines, who called it “a perfect slice of soul- infused disco guaranteed to get some serious dance floor action”.

Frank Booker has quietly built a worldwide reputation for incredible edits and DJ sets.
