Premiere: Rising-Duo KAUM Drop Deep House Gem ‘Fire’

For those who don’t KAUM, keep this name in mind! Coming from Venice, Italy, the duo has a special focus on creating punchy Deep House tracks, with great beats and immersive textures. In the past few years, their songs have been supported by massive acts like Matt Darey, Boy George, Nora en Pure or Alle Farben, and they’ve also officially remixed the worldwide hit “Reality” by Lost Frequencies on Armada Music.

And recently, they have teamed up with Australian singer and songwriter General Vibe in order to create a new song titled “Fire”

The track has a steady groove, with some massive bass tones as well as some retro-inspired synth sounds that add a more organic twist to this release. The production really suits the track and it highlights all of the perks of the song’s simple, yet effective arrangement. The beat is powerful, yet effective, serving the melodic elements of the music, while allowing the vocals to shine. On top of that, the vocal performance is absolutely stellar, because it feels very energetic, but also emotional and edgy, with a deeper, almost baritone sound that adds so much body to the song. One of the most distinctive features of this release is definitely the fact that it sports a very modern sound. However, it also has a warmth that is typical of classic sounds from the 80s, such as new wave.
