Production duo Bless You have teamed up with Don Stefano, one of the songwriters behind Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” smash, for their dreamy debut “How I Feel” through One Seven – Sony’s Scandinavian partner behind several Martin Garrix, Sigala and J Balvin hits. An incredibly moving track about wanting to break out of an emotional cycle, “How I Feel” hits you right in the feels.
Showcasing the sophistication in Bless You’s creativity, the mix of soft synths and low bass led by a subtle groove and breezy melodies makes “How I Feel” an ideal 4 am dancefloor candidate. Bless You is made up of former childhood pals Viktor Valentin and Morris Theodor from Denmark. Although “How I Feel” marks Bless You’s first release, the childhood friends built their own studio in their parents’ basement at the age of 13 where they first started experimenting with music. With a shared dream of performing at some of the world’s biggest stages, the duo has spent the last 11 years perfecting their craft to ensure that they will one day meet that goal.
Bless You’s desire to finally put their genius craft out there was in part, fuelled by Morris’ stint as DJ Alesso’s tour manager, which gave him first-hand experience on what performing at some of the world’s greatest venues would be like. This sparked his hunger for success and also led to his return to Denmark to reunite with childhood friend Viktor so they could continue their quest of becoming superstar DJs. Kicking off with “How I Feel”, Bless You are well on their way to stardom.
