[PREMIERE] Parx Reworks ‘90s Classic ‘Finally’

The next release on Hoxton-based label, Perfect Havoc comes by way of the acclaimed Alex Cramp AKA Parx with his rework of ‘90s classic ‘Finally’ by Ce Ce Peniston. Released on Friday 19th July, Parx’s re-rub breathes new life into one of the most influential dance records of all time and is no small feat for a rising artist. 2019 has been a strong year so far for Perfect Havoc. From a roster of new talent and returning stars, a stream of forward-thinking and well-received releases have seen the label hit 100 million streams, and it shows no sign of slowing down.

Parx burst on to the scene in 2017 with his debut single ‘Waiting On You’, which received support from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard among others. A year that also saw him clock up over 4 million streams on Spotify with ‘Sunrise’, a collab between Parx and Kattison that put him firmly on the global radar.
He has since worked with the likes of Blonde, TCTS, Alan Walker, Mason, Tobtok, Oliver Nelson and more, becoming a sought after remixer as well as a creator of original tracks that receive continuously strong backing from some of the biggest DJs in dance music.

Listen 'Finally' :

" Growing up ‘Finally’ was one of my favourite tracks and one of the main reasons I got into music production. I decided to try a modern take on arguably one of the greatest house records of all time and I’m so excited for it to come out on an amazing label ‘Perfect Havoc’ ”

says Parx. ‘Finally’ is set to be one of the standout tracks of the summer. Taking a nostalgic vocal and fusing it with big-room energy, housey pianos and a futuristic deep house feel; it has all the makings of a track that you’ll find yourself humming for the umpteenth time as the weekend approaches.
