Sandancer To Release Immersive New Single ‘Breathe (feat. Nate Williams)’

Sandancer, also known as Whiddett, is a multi-talented artist who combines introspective, dynamic, and eerie elements in his music. As a member of the electronic duo Qtier, he is recognized for his experimental and subtle production style, characterized by haunting synths and an alternative approach to reality. Qtier’s tracks like “Still” and “Set Me On” have gained over 11 million global streams and received support from renowned radio DJs such as Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Lauren Laverne, Tom Robinson, and Andrew Wetherall. In addition, Whiddett joined the acclaimed acid-jazz funk group Jamiroquai in 2017, showcasing his expertise in live electronics with Ableton Live and earning the nickname “The Ableton Wizard” from lead singer Jay Kay.

Performing with Jamiroquai on global tours and renowned festivals like Coachella, Whiddett has even shared the stage with popular rap artist Snoop Dogg and DJ’d for the talented singer/songwriter and producer Róisín Murphy, enhancing her live vocal effects.

Continuing from the success of his last two releases, Sandancer is returning with new single “Breathe.” Merging infectious, impactful and cinematic together, Sandancer’s release once again showcases a refreshing and much needed take on electronic music. For this release, Sandancer has also brought on Nate Williams as a feature after they met playing together on the Jamiroquai Automaton tour. Hailing from Anglesey in North Wales, Nate brings his Soul/RnB tendencies to the vocals on the track. Recent releases have seen success on Spotify as Nate continues to build his following and expand into his musical goals through lots of collaborations, most recently releasing a track with Steve Winwood.

On the new single, Sandancer says, “With this one I took down the tempo while Nate’s vocal reflects on past regrets and works through finding acceptance. In the chorus we transition from the introspective theme present in my previous tracks and attempt to just chill for a moment or two.”
