Melt Festival Returns In 2022 With No Restrictions

Festival culture is back! Together with countless fans from all over Europe, Melt Festival 2022 is looking forward to an incredible reunion in #anewworld. On the beach and at the impressive scenery of Ferropolis the event will celebrate over 200 acts, collaborations with Germany’s biggest clubs and radio stations, and seven new stages! Now the next step on the way to the longed-for festival summer is done: over 40 new announcements now complete the line-up of Melt 2022.   

With the final line-up, the Melt crew also publishes the daily breakdown of the acts. Another special for this year: with the Pre-Day on Thursday one more festival day to celebrate and dance has been added. From Thursday 9th June onwards, expect an onslaught of the most creative and boundary-pushing artists on the planet. The festival announces itself with live sets from Daniel Avery and DJ Seinfeld as well as seminal performances from UK Talents Little Simz and Arlo Parks. On Friday, festival-goers can look forward to pulsating Berlin techno from Marcell Dettman and DJ Stingray 303, as well as one of the hottest electronic talents Fred Again. Palms Traxx, Hunee. On Saturday, we get fully into the groove of the weekend with rising gen-z superstar PinkPanthress taking the stage, as well as globally beloved DJ Peggy Gou. There’s also mind-bending performances from the likes of Overmono, Leon Vynehall and Octa Octa. The weekend climaxes with performances from Jamie XX, Biig Piig, Goldlink, Honey Dijon and plenty more.

In the middle of the Melt Forest, the new Liquid Jungle Stage awaits visitors this year. Every evening, collectives present the Melt Session there with exciting artists from the live jazz and neo soul scene. Treasure Bloom, Xades or Triorität with special guest Lukas Lehmann are just some of the names that will demonstrate the variation and quality of the genre on site. In addition to these great sessions, Melt fans can also look forward to special sets from well-known artists such as Honey Dijon, Jayda G, Peggy Gou, Monolink or Sofia Kourtesis at the Ping Pong Stage, another new stage located in the Melt Arena.

Melting genre boundaries and a festival that dares to look far beyond its own nose: in 2022, Melt Festival will create an even more intense and intimate experience at the same time.
