French producer Pierre-Alexandre Busson AKA Yuksek delivers yet another vibrant single title ‘The Rollercoaster’, sticking to the post-disco and house quality he’s become well known for, and finding that beautiful balance of old and new.
For the release of ‘The Rollercoaster’, we’ve asked some questions to Yuksek to learn more about him, his music, and the future. Enjoy!
Hey Pierre, such a pleasure to have you ! So, can you tell us a bit more about Yuksek?
Hey! I’m french, I’m producer, DJ, movie score maker, and I love to make people dance.
We’ve just picked your last gem ‘The Rollercoaster’. Could you share an anecdote about it?
I did it the day before Christmas, Santa came earlier.
You’re always experimenting new sounds. Is it important for you not to stick in just one genre?
Absolutely, genre and occupation, that why I love doing production or writing for other artists, music for film and my own creation at the same time, if I stick to only one thing I got mad. And musically yes I don’t like to do the same thing twice.
Now that you have unveiled ‘The Rollercoaster’, what is in store now for Yuksek fans? Maybe a Tour?
I’m constantly playing as DJ but I will do a live tour next year together with the release of my album in February.
Finally, can you share five records that you can’t get enough of right now?
Charlotte Adigery – Zandoli
Kapote – Delirio Italiano
Bawrut – Ciquita – Ransom note edit
Cotonette & Di Melo – AEIOU
Baden Powell – Os Afro Samba
