The London pair had a great end to 2018 getting their first 100,000 Spotify streams in only 2 months, with their previous release “High”. ‘Wait For You’ is a not-so fictional tune written about dealing with long distance relationships. After Sam’s (lead singer) girlfriend took a job offer in Africa for a year he wrote about the difficulties of dealing with the distance. They wanted to write a song that had elements of joy & love but coupled with distress & heartbreak, as you deal with a whole mix of emotions in long distance relationships, both good & bad. Yet, ultimately, when you know they’re the one… you’ll always wait.
