How Apple Revolutionized Music ? iPod 17th Anniversary

On October 23rd, 2001, or 17 years before, Steve Jobs and Apple announced the launching of the iPod, about ​8 1⁄2 months after the Macintosh version of iTunes was released. The portable media player revolutionized music listening, to take your playlists and favorites songs wherever you go. 2001 was also marked at the same time by the first Apple Stores in the US.

Through the years and new iPod generations from 2010, the « pocket computer » was the best selling portable audio device of all time.
